Treasure Bags

We energetically finishing the final touches on our current projects for the Farmer's market in Provo Utah on August 23.  Our families would choose a different word than energetically, obsessive, or manically is a bit closer to the truth.  We remind them that this is the beginning and we are working and figuring out things that we don't have to do again.  There is a feeling of hope, but not complete trust that this is true.  We have pictures of the new products that we are taking with us.  We would love to know what you think.

These are our treasure bags. These fun bags are snap bags.  The top open and close with a fun snapping noise and are strong enough to keep the treasures inside. They come in multiple cotton fabrics and are the perfect size for party favors, holding snacks for car trips or outings, containing charge cords or accessories for electronic devices.  There are also great for holding odds and ends in backpacks, suitcases, or just about anywhere.

We really love these little bags and will be posting them for $5 on Etsy in the beginning of September.

The future of ElleCie Designs or at least until next Thursday

We really appreciate all the love and support from all our family, friends, and those that liked our products so far.  We have received our first order for a custom bag and we are really excited about creating a one-of-a-kind bag for Nikki.  Thanks for your confidence in us. Thank you for your patience with us as we figure out how to share our creations.  Mom and I had a business meeting to discuss our plans for ElleCie Designs and what we want to do next.  After much discussion, and a big snow cone, we have decided that we are going to feature one of our products each week.  The featured item will be discounted at our Etsy Store, Elleciedesigns for that week.  On our blog we will post either a free pattern or share tips that are connected with the featured product. We also talked about some projects that we were interested in doing next, (it was a pretty big snow cone).  We design our own patterns and have a great time problem solving the tri...

Margaret, A Waldorf Inspired Doll

Margaret, sweet as a spring flower, is ready to help in the garden. She is a Waldorf style doll with a needle felted sculptured face. She is stuffed with 100% wool and her body and face is made from premium cotton knit. She is 17" tall with multicolored long blonde hair. She has a yellow print kimono style top piped in red. Her pants are red with a coordinating yellow print trim. She has white panties and red and yellow Tom-style shoes. Her hair is arranged with a matching yellow and red bow.  More pictures to come!
We stayed very busy through the pandemic with family projects. Life seemed to slow down and speed up at the same time.  We are the proud new owners of 16 needle embroidery machines and are having a blast creating designs and stitching them out.  We have been asked by several people to do some small jobs.  We really enjoy the work and working together, so we have decided to officially create ElleCie Designs LLC.  We stitched out a lot of lace for a prom dress. It took two hours to stitch out one.  We needed six. We have made patches for the Walla Walla Sheriff's  Office. They had a community event, so we stitched out super hero patches for them.  We also stitched out pink badges to support cancer awareness. We stitched out aprons for Sue's Turkey Drive. The picture was designed by Sue's Grand-daughter. We have made patches for the high school girls tennis team. We have made numerous bags, which we have been told have too many pockets, but we respe...
