We stayed very busy through the pandemic with family projects. Life seemed to slow down and speed up at the same time.  We are the proud new owners of 16 needle embroidery machines and are having a blast creating designs and stitching them out.  We have been asked by several people to do some small jobs.  We really enjoy the work and working together, so we have decided to officially create ElleCie Designs LLC.

We stitched out a lot of lace for a prom dress. It took two hours to stitch out one.  We needed six.

We have made patches for the Walla Walla Sheriff's  Office. They had a community event, so we stitched out super hero patches for them.  We also stitched out pink badges to support cancer awareness.

We stitched out aprons for Sue's Turkey Drive. The picture was designed by Sue's Grand-daughter.

We have made patches for the high school girls tennis team.

We have made numerous bags, which we have been told have too many pockets, but we respectfully disagree. Can you have too many useful pockets? We don't think so. We are looking forward to more projects that we have in our future.

We are really sorry for the lack of communication, but we are getting ready for our first farmers market.  We have a booth at the farmers market in Provo, UT on August 23.  We are excited and nervous at the same time.  We have pictures coming soon of our new creations, our cinch sacks, wallets, embroidered shirts, luggage tags, and treasure bags.  We are working hard and having a great time improving our initial designs.  Our new products will be available in our Etsy shop soon.
This week we finished some sweatshirts for a local high school craft fair fundraiser.  It is for the music department, so if you are in town visit the Southridge High School on November 5 between 9 am-4pm. We also have been making a couple of aprons. They were great fun to make.   Pattern came from an Instructables tutorial by compwalla. Great instructions and safe advice. Sue liked her aprons so much that she asked us to stitch out some more, so we are working on those.  We are also trying to find our way through the ins and outs of starting a small business. We have faith that one day we will have it all worked out. (The rules will change then, but it won't be our fault. I don't think.)

Maisie May, A Waldorf Inspired Doll

Maisie May is a cheerful little blue eyed brunette. Her face is needle sculpted with a precious innocent expression. Maisie is 18" tall and stuffed with 100% wool. Her head and body are made from premium cotton knit and double stitched for strength. She is dressed in a spring green cotton dress with a forest green pinafore with decorative stitches across the bottom. She has white panties, white knit tights and little shoes. More pictures to come!
